  • Essex County 911 Address Verification

    Over the next several months, Timmons Group, an Engineering and Technology firm based in Richmond, is assisting Essex County in correcting their addressing system. Technicians from the firm will be visiting each structure in the county and verifying that the actual E-911 address of the structure matches the address in Essex County’s Geographic Information System. Ensuring that all addresses are accurate and up-to-date will enable first responders to locate an emergency as quickly as possible.

  • Marsh Street Park Hours

    Beginning August 14, 2017 the Pool and Park will operate Thursday-Saturday 11am-7pm and Sunday 1pm-7pm. The Park and Pool are closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Pool entrance fees are $1.50 for county and $3.00 for out of county users.

    Essex County Citizens – The Essex County Board of Supervisors is considering acquiring waterfront property within the Town of Tappahannock (June Parker Marina) to provide a variety of recreational activities including swimming, fishing, and boating to our citizens.
